Chest tomb. c.1788. Stone. Inscribed slab on chest which has
fluted dies, husk garlands and other classical motifs.
Inscription reads "To the memory of Margaret daughter of
Peter and Mary Hewitt of Peel Hall who died 21 Oct. 1788
also William their son....,also Peter their son...Thomas
their son..Peter Hewitt died 1819, Mary his wife etc."
