15.1.86 bay of No. 10,
Slack Hall
House. Mid C18 but incorporating parts which are probably of
C17 date. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated
stone slate roof. 2 bays and 2 storeys with earlier wing at
rear. Quoins. Door with square-cut surround to left. 3 and 6-
light ground floor windows and 4 and 6-light first floor
windows all with recessed chamfered mullions. Ridge chimney
stack. Rear is rendered and has a 4 and 5-light double-
chamfered cavetto-moulded mullion window (C17) and two 3-
light double-chamfered mullion windows.
