Watershot hammer-dressed stone with graduated stone slate
roof. Each house has a double-depth l-bay plan with 3
storeys and is entered through the gable. Each house has a
5-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion window on each
floor. Eaves gutter brackets and gable chimney stacks. Two
2-light mullion windows to each gable. Small lean-to brick
extension to rear. Bulletin of the Saddleworth Historical
