House. Mid and late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with
graduated stone slate roof. 1 x 2 bays with 4 and 3 storeys
and a 2-span roof. Front has quoins, a lean-to with stone
flag roof at ground floor level and 2-light flat-faced
mullion windows on the upper floors. Gable chimney stacks.
Door in left gable has dressed surround whereas a flight of
steps gives access to a second floor door on the right which
may formerly have been a separate house. The rear bay is of
an earlier date: it has two 2-light and a 5-light recessed
chamfered mullion window to right as well as an arched attic
light. The rear now has garage doors on the ground floor but
3-light windows (as above) on the upper floors, that to the
top floor having been enlarged to 5 lights.
