19/6/67 of St. Chad
Hearse house. "1824 James Taylor, George Ogden Wardens, Know
Thyself" on arched inscribed stone in gable. Ashlar with
watershot stone sides and rear and graduated stone slate
roof. 2 hearse bays each with pointed arch doors. Coped
gable with carved finial. Pointed arch windows to sides and
rear, the rear one retaining interlaced glazing bars.
