- Delph Lodge
G.V. II
2 houses. Early C19. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with
slate roof. L-shaped range of 5 x 4 bays the angle of which
was filled in in the later Cl9. Raised quoins and eaves
cornice with blocking course. Central door with step
approach has fanlight and open pediment on 3/4 columns. 4
ground floor and 5 first floor windows all have sashes
(without glazing bars) and square-cut stone surrounds.
Hipped roof and side-wall chimney stacks. Similar windows to
side. Arched stair window to rear. The later infill projects
to right with a canted bay window on the ground floor and a
2-light first floor window with arched lights and hoodmould.
