Public House)
3 houses, now a public house. Mid and late C18. Watershot
hammer-dressed stone with graduated stone slate roof. Bays 2
and 3, each formerly single-depth, l-bay, 2-storey cottages
were added to bay 1 which is double-depth, 1 bay wide and
has 3 storeys. Bay 1 has blocked door to left with
rusticated keystone lintel and inserted door to right with
chamfered surround and basket-headed lintel. 3-light ground
floor and 5-light first and second floor windows with
chamfered stone mullions. Quoins and gable stacks. The later
cottages to the right have blocked doors, 2 and 3-light
ground floor windows and a 12-light workshop window on the
first floor; all have flat-faced stone mullions. A C20
addition obscures the rear of the cottages, the house
retaining 2, 3 and 6-light mullion windows.
