Intake Farmhouse and Cottage

II

Two cottages. Late C18. Watershot hammer-dressed stone with
graduated stone slate roof. Each cottage is one bay wide,
single-depth and has three storeys. Entrances are in the gables,
the left obscured by a C20 1-storey wing, the right by a
small porch. Quoins. Each cottage has 6-light recessed flat-
faced stone mullion windows with king mullions on the ground
and first floors and a 4-light window to the second floor
which was a workshop. Gable chimney stacks. 2 and 3-light
windows to sides and rear. Rear also has two C20 windows. and
a C20 bow window.
