2 houses. The Cottage - 1616 on datestone but largely dating
from late C18, Heys Cottage - "JGJ 1759" (Greaves) on door
lintels. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated
stone slate roof. The two 2-storey houses back onto each
other as parallel ranges. Heys Cottage is 1 bay wide, a 2-
storey wing of later date obscuring the original gable
entrance with dated lintel. 5 and 3-light recessed flat-
faced stone mullion windows, a later window, 2-light gable
windows, gable chimney stacks and a C20 porch. The Cottage
has a door to right obscured by a later porch, 3 and 4-light
ground floor windows and 4, 3 and 4-light first floor
windows all with recessed flat-faced stone mullions. Square
eaves gutter brackets and gable chimney stacks.
