House. Early Cl9. Ashlar front, watershot stone rear, with
graduated stone slate roof. Double-depth central-staircase
plan with 3 bays, 3 storeys and symmetrical 2-storey wings
to either side which were added slightly later. Projecting
plinth, sill bands, eaves cornice and raised quoins.
Central door flanked by 5-light windows. 5, 2 and 5-light
windows on the upper floors. The side wings are treated
similarly with a 3-light window on each floor. All windows
have recessed flat-faced stone mullions. Tall stair window
to rear and 3, 4, and 5-light windows as above. Gable
chimney stacks with water-tabling and oversailing courses.
