Wind Whistle Farmhouse and cottages

Laithe-house, the barn having been converted into cottages
Late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with slate roof. 2-
bay 2-storey house with former barn to right and former
workshop at first floor level. Projecting plinth and quoins.
Central door with square-cut surround flanked by 4-light
windows. Continuous 13-light workshop window. Arched cart
entry with keystone is now blocked and windows and doors
have been inserted to create the cottages. Blocked taking-in
door to rear as well as 2 and 3- light windows as above and
one cavetto-moulded double-chamfered mullion window. Ridge
chimney stacks.
