4/244 Middle Carr
- Farmhouse
Farmhouse. Late C18. Squared rubble with addition in hammer-
dressed watershot stone. Graduated stone slate roof. Double-
depth 3-storey plan with later 2-storey wing to rear right
and porch wing to left gable. Front (east) has 6 and 4-light
ground floor windows, 4 and 4-light first floor and 10-light
second floor workshop window. All have recessed flat-faced
stone mullions. Gable chimney stacks. 2-light gable windows.
Blocked central door to rear.
