Public House. "MB SB 1745" (Michael Bottomley) on door
lintel with C19 addition to rear. Watershot hammer-dressed
stone with graduated stone slate roof. 3-bay single-depth
plan with 3 and 2 storeys and later parallel range added
behind bays 2 and 3. Quoins. C20 window in bay 1 with door
to right. Blocked door with ovolo-moulded surround to bay 3
adjacent to a later door with square-cut surround. 4 and 2-
light double-chamfered cavetto-moulded mullion windows (the
latter with mullion removed) to ground floor and 4 and 5-
light similar to first floor some retaining original leaded
panes. 3 ridge chimney stacks. Similar 2, 3 and 4-light
windows to rear which also has an ovolo-moulded door
surround.
