Farmhouse and barn. "RWAW 1740" (Robert Whitehead) on door
lintel. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone
slate roof. 2 bays and 2 storeys with barn to left. Quoins.
Bay 1 is single-depth and has a door to right with chamfered
surround, a 4-light double-chamfered cavetto-moulded mullion
ground floor window and a 6-light recessed flat-faced
mullion first floor window. Bay 2 is earlier than 1740, is
double-depth and has 5 and 6-light chamfered (double-
chamfered on ground floor) cavetto-moulded mullion windows.
Gable chimney stacks. 2 and 3-light windows to gables and
rear. Fire surround with corbelled mantel and cornice. The
front of the barn has been rebuilt.
