House. Late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with
graduated stone slate roof partly replaced by slate. 3-bay
U-shaped range with 3 storeys and 1-storey wing to right.Bay
1 projects as an outshut with 3, 5 and 5-light recessed
flat-faced stone mullion windows the top one retaining 12-
pane casements. Bay 2 has a door with square-cut surround,
various mullioned windows and blocked doors, and a flight of
external stone cantilevered steps giving access to the
former second floor workshop. Bay 3 projects as a gabled
wing with 2 and 3-light windows. Ridge chimney stacks. 4, 5
and 12-light mullion windows (as above) and an altered
window on the ground floor of the rear.
