House and cottage. Late C18. Hammer-dressed watershot stone
with slate roof. 2-bay single-depth house with double-depth
cottage to right and later wing to far right. Bay 1 slightly
postdates bay 2. 4 and 8-light recessed flat-faced stone
mullion windows on the ground floor, 5 and 7-light on the
first floor, and a door with overlight and square-cut
surround between the two bays. Ridge chimney stack. 2, 3
and 4-light windows to gable and rear and a blocked taking-
in door. Bay 3 (the cottage) breaks forward and has a 4-
light window on each floor, 2-light gable windows, blocked
owl holes in gable and a small garage wing to right.
