Sunday School

Sunday School. 1810 on datestone above door. Flemish bond
brick with stone dressings and graduated stone slate roof.
3 x 3 bays with a central entrance and 3 storeys. Stone
plinth, first and second floor sill bands, eaves cornice and
gable stacks. The 6-panel door has a fanlight and
rusticated surround with keystone. Each floor has 2
tripartite sash windows with flat brick arches and stone
sills and the first and second floors have a central single
sash window (none retain glazing bars). The 9 windows on
Pickford Lane are similar in design. Alleged to have been
the largest Sunday School in the county when first built.
