Farmhouse and
adjoining barn

G.V. II
Farmhouse and barn. Early C19, perhaps incorporating earlier
work, with barn dated "EB + 1849" on lintel. Hammer-dressed
stone, partly watershot, with graduated stone slate roof. 2-
bay 2-storey cottage with barn under continuous roof to
left. 2 and 3-light flat-faced mullion windows on each floor
with blocked door to right and later door in right return.
Ridge chimney stacks. Elliptical-arched barn door with small
light above which has segmental'lintel and impost blocks.
Blocked door to left gable. Outshut to rear of barn now
forms part of the house. Included for group value.
