House and adjoining cottage. Early C18 (1715 on datestone)
with bay added to left in late C18 and additions to rear in
late C19. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated
stone slate roof. 2-bay 2-storey house with bay added to
left the whole range having been made double-depth at a
later date. Original house has quoins and a central door
with dressed surround and C20 porch. Enlarged windows on
the ground floor beneath original hoodmoulds.3 and 4-light
double-chamfered mullion windows on first floor to either
side of the re-cut datestone. No. 5 (left) has a square-cut
door surround and C20 casement window on each floor
replacing original flat-faced mullion windows. 3 rendered
chimney stacks, originally on the ridge, now fall on the
slope of the roof. 3-light double-chamfered mullion window
to right gable-end.
