Former warehouse to Mather Lane cotton mills (see ref 6/61). Circa 1882, probably
by Bradshaw and Gas. Plain brick. Two storeys (3 to Bridgwater Canal). Eight
window range (to Mather Lane); continuous sill and lintel bands and parapet to all
elevations. Some windows blind. Taking-in doorways (to 6th bay) under raised and
shaped parapet with hoist; irregular elevations elsewhere that to canal with a
taking-in bay similar to front. Moulded plinth. Included for group value with
Mather Lane Mill No 2.
