Former farmhouse, now house. Early to mid C18 with later alterations. Stone
(rendered throughout, and possibly incorporating parts of a timber-framed
structure), stone slab roof. 3-unit plan with storeyed outshut (containing
services and stairs) to rear under catslide roof. 2 storeys. Front: regular
3-window range; plinth, plot band, cornice band, wedge lintels; canted bay to
centre. C20 top-opening casement. One ridge and 2 end stacks. Conservatory under
hipped roof to left; right return with original opening to attic window; timber open
porch, gabled; round-headed doorway with fanlight, the door with fielded panels
below. Rear largely re-fenestrated in C20. Interior: early to mid C18 dog-leg
stair, panelled newels, turned balusters; pegged door surrounds, 6-pannelled doors.
Boxed ceiling beams to ground-floor rooms. Internal walls with large posts and
rails with wattle and daub infill, rise through roof space. Side-purlin roof. Some
modest C18 and C19 door furniture and fire surrounds. Listed primarily for its C18
plan and fittings.
