Pair of houses. Dated 1845 on plaque above entrance to No.
116. Stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, end bays
forward under gables with finials. Windows are
sashed, no glazing bars. End-bay canted bay window to
ground floor and 2-light mullioned window with sashes to 1st
floor of end bays. Central plaque reads: 1904 WOOLTON
DISTRICT NURSING SOCIETY NURSES' HOME BY REQUEST OF MARY J.
CROSS, PRESIDENT 1879 TO 1902.
