Street lamp and fountain in front of Croxteth Park entrance

Drinking fountain. Dated 1894. Arthur P. Fry. Stone and
bronze. Round base with 3 battered buttresses, cusped niche
to west with mosaic and fitting for fountain (removed);
stone bowl. Round-headed recess below for dog bowl.
Circular cornice inscribed "Water is Best, the Gift of
Richard Robert Meade-King 1894 designed by Arthur P. Fry".
Stone conical top crowned by elaborate bronze street lamp
with ornamented lantern.
