(The West Derby
Public House)

Public house. Early C19 with later addition. Painted brick
with planted timbering above ground floor, slate roofs. 2
storeys, with attic to 1st bay, 2 bays, both gabled. 1st
bay has sill bands. 1st bay timbering probably recent
(1984), 2nd bay has C19 timbering with decorative
bargeboards. Windows have tripartite sashes with glazing
bars, canted bay window to ground floor of 2nd bay. Central
round-headed entrance has panelled pilasters, archivolt and
complete fanlight. Listed for group value only.
