Includes No. 68 Hampton Street and No. 123 Upper Stanhope
Street. Terrace of 9 houses. 1830's. Stucco and slate
roof. 3 storeys and basement, 2 bays to each house. End
bays of 3 storeys. 1st floor sill band; top frieze and
cornice. Windows mostly sashed with glazing bars. Round-
headed entrances have Doric doorcases with fluted columns.
No. 2 is derelict (1984): boarded late C19 projecting ground
floor window, other windows have no frames. Most stucco
gone. Iron area railings and 1st floor balcony. No. 6 has
complete fanlight and 6-panel door and archivolt. No. 8
similar, archivolt damaged, area railings. No. 10 derelict
(1984), most stucco gone, blocked ground floor window.
Doorcase lacks columns, 6-panel door, archivolt, area
railings. No, 14 boarded projecting ground floor late C20
window. No. 123 Upper Stanhope Street is of 3 bays with
Doric porch.
