Includes No. 26 Roscoe Street. Row of 10 houses. Early
C19. Brick with stone dressings, No. 10 is stuccoed with
pantile roof. 3 storeys with basement, 2 bays to each house.
1st floor sill band to Nos. 6 to 12; top cornice. Deep end
stacks. Sash windows on each floor of each house, nearly
all with glazing bars intact, stone sills and lintels. No.
6 has entrance with moulded round arched. Casements to
ground and 2nd floors. No. 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 have paired
doorways in common segmental brick arches, simple doorways
with Tuscan pilasters and round traceried fanlights. No.
9 has complete fanlight and bowed balconies to 1st floor.
No. 10 has windows in architraves and 2nd floor sill band.
No. 11 has iron hand rails to steps and bowed balconies to
1st floor. No. 12 has blocked entrance and ground floor
window. Nos. 13 to 15 and No. 26 Roscoe Street derelict
(1984) blocked windows and entrances, most of roof missing,
and gable to Roscoe Street.
