Formerly Liverpool Savings Bank. Circa 1861. William
Culshaw. Stone, 4 storeys. 5 bays. Ground floor now has 3
modern shop fronts. 1st floor has 4 windows and Greek key
patterned frieze and cornice, broken by centre segmental
pediment on scroll backets and carved tympanum containing
arms and above inserted marble plaque. 2nd floor is
rusticated, sill course, windows in architraves with
consoled segmental pediments. Top floor has 5 round-arched
windows, 4 with curved iron balconies. Large entablature
with modillions and lion masks.
