Graving Dock. 1765, lengthened 1813, deepened by J. Hartley
in 1842. Sandstone and granite.
Stepped stone sides with granite barrel runs, 3 to each
side. Granite coping. Granite bollards round sides. To
north of No. 2 Graving Dock.Now part of Merseyside Maritime
