Graving dock. 1765, lengthened 1813, deepened by J Hartley
in 1842. Sandstone and granite. Stepped
stone sides with granite barrel runs, 3 to each side.
Granite coping. Granite bollards round sides. To south of
no. 1 Graving Dock.Now part of the Merseyside Maritime Museum.
