Catholic Church. 1859-60 by R. W. Hughes. Rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. The church is orientated with the ritual east to the north west and has an aisle-less nave, transepts, and a chancel flanked by side chapels. Single storey sacristies to either side and a gabled north porch. The ritual west end has diagonal buttresses and an entrance and 2:3:2-light pointed windows with Geometric tracery. The 5-bay nave has 2-light windows and no clerestory. The north transept has 2 windows of 2 lights with a rose window above, the south transept has a 4-light window. The chancel has diagonal buttresses flanking a 5-light window. Gabled side chapels have 2-light windows. The south sacristy has windows of one and two cusped lights and a gable with a rose window. Interior: Reredos probably by Edward Welby Pugin, East window by Capronnier, dated 1878.
