Cottage. 1870s. J.Douglas. Brick with blue brick and stone
dressings, patterned roof of green and blue slates with red
tile cresting. One storey, 4 bays, end bay projects under
gabled roof. Paired 2-light windows, those to end bays have
segmental heads; the gable above has tile-hung upper part
with lunette vent. 2 paired circular stacks. Right return
has projecting gabled bay as above and segmental-headed
window with 3-light small-paned casement with leaded upper
lights. Entrance with shouldered lintel with incised cross
moline. Angle has 2-light casements and stone bench. Similar
range to rear.
