Includes Nos 7 to 11 (odd) Stanley Street.
Office Building. 1860's. Red sandstone with polished
granite ground floor, Gothic, canted corner bays with 2
storey oriels, 7 bays to Stanley Street. Ground floor; shop
fronts between flat pilasters, corner entrances. Windows a
variety of forms, mostly pointed-arched with tracery, some
square headed with mullions and transoms. 3 gables and deep
balcony on brackets to 3rd floors. Stanley Street facade
similarly treated but with 3rd bay entrance, pointed arched
with tracery, with heavy carved balcony over. Above this 2
turrets rise to squat tower with octagonal lantern with
short spire and finial. 4 dormers to right of entrance bay.
