Public House. Late C18. Brick with stone dressings, slate
roof. 3 storeys and 5 x 6 bays. Rusticated quoins to
corner. Ground floor altered but has plain doorcase to 1st
bay and keyed wedge lintels to fixed windows in 2nd and 3rd
bays. All upper windows have similar heads and are sashed
with glazing bars. The rhythm to Suffolk Street is
irregular but the 4th bay has tripartite sashes and the 1st
2 bays are blocked. 2 chimneys on hipped roof.
