Includes No.1 Catharine St and No.2 St. Bride Street.
Terrace of 7 houses. 2nd quarter of C19. Brick with stone
dressings, hipped slate roof. 3 storeys with basement, 3
bays to each house; 1st bay is return to No.2 St. Bride St,
end 2 bays are the return to No.1 Catherine St. Basement
lintel band, 1st floor sill band, and top cornice and
blocking course.Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed
with glazing bars; one 2nd floor blind window to each house.
Round-headed entrances have Doric doorcases with fluted
columns. Iron railings to areas and steps have spear heads.
No.42 has 4-panel door. No. 48 has boarded ground floor and
lacks doorcase columns, one 2nd floor window missing (1984).
No. 50 has complete fanlight and 6-panel door. No. 2 St.
Bride St is of 3 bays and has Doric doorcase, almost
complete fanlight and 6-panel door; 3 blind windows. No.1
Catharine St is of 3 bays; 3 blind windows; doorcase has
angle pilasters, entablature,complete overlight and half-
glazed door. Iron gate posts to basement steps.
