Two houses. 1913 G. L. Sutcliffe. Brick, partly
roughcast, tile roof. Semi-detached houses symmetrically
disposed. Two storeys, each house of one bay with paired
dooways with central side lights. Small-pane casements.
half-glazed doors under flat hoods. To first floor the
windows are tall pairs of lights in half dormers, flanked by
lower lights. The gable of the dormers are weatherboarded.
Steep hipped roof with lateral and central (slightly rear)
stacks. A round-headed brick archway joins this item to No.
49 (q.v.). This item is a little altered example of the
houses in the Wavertree Garden Suburb and adjoins the central
block of the main square.
