House. C17 with C18 and early C19 extensions. Stone with
slate roof, hipped at one end, and brick cross - axial
stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. 1st bay has ground floor 6-
light and 1st floor 7-light mullioned windows with label
moulds, 2nd and 3rd bays of rubble with large flush quoins
and band over ground floor. Windows have keyed lintels and
are sashed with glazing bars.4th and 5th bays of ashlar,
similar to 2nd and 3rd bays. Entrance to 1st bay is round-
headed and has angle pilasters, keyed archivolt, fanlight
and half glazed door. Left return to street of 2 bays,
windows are segmental headed, with sliding sashes with
transoms, those to ground floor have gauged brick cambered
arches and no upper sliding sashes. Interior has room with
early C18 fielded panelling with fluted flat pilasters
flanking fireplace.
