47/535 No. 28 (The Old House)


House. 1840's Stucco with slate roof. 2 storeys with
basement and attic. 3 x 3 bays. Ground floor has
channelled rustication. Top frieze and modillioned cornice;
quoins. 1st bay end stack. Ground floor 3rd bay,
tripartite window with segmental heads. 1st floor windows
have architraves, scrolly friezes and consoled cornices.
Round-headed gable window. Projecting porch has a round
headed entrance with angle pilasters and archivolt. One
iron 1st floor balcony and some iron railings. Left return
to the esplanade has 3 canted bays to ground floor.
