Railway bridge. 1829-30. For Liverpool and Manchester Railway,
Engineer G Stephenson. Dressed stone with ashlar dressings. Round arch.
Abutments swept forward and coping taken across top and down
sides of abutments to short round piers with caps. Round-
arched extension to south.
