Includes Nos. 66 to 72 (even) Central Road. Terrace of 9
houses. 1906. By J. Lomax Simpson. Roughcast and timber-
framing on brick base, some weatherboarding, stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 7-bay canted angle, 5 bays to Lower Road and 2 bays
to Central Road. Angle is timber framed, the rest is
roughcast with weatherboarded 1st floor. Centre projecting
gabled bay, jettied 1st floor and gable. 2nd and 6th bays
also project under gables with jettied 1st floors. Windows
have leaded casements of 3 and 4 lights, central rectangular
bay window and 1st floor bowed oriel, flanking bays have
hipped half dormers. Facade to central street has 1st floor
jettied on coving. Central 1st floor paired gablets.
Entrances have small-paned lights, those to angle in lateral
lean-to porches. 9 brick stacks. Rear roughcast, gables and
