Lodge and stables. 1894. By Grayson and Ould. Stone with
timber-framed 1st floor, hipped tile roof. One storey with
attic, 2 bays. 2nd bay of ground floor recessed with
brackets and end buttress supporting 1st floor. Windows
have leaded glazing, 1st bay to ground floor has 4-light
canted bay window with hipped roof, 2nd bay has 2-light
casement. 1st floor has gabled dormers with 3-light windows
and quatrefoils to gables. Left return has gabled porch
with entrance to return; dormer. Right return has gable-end
stack and flanking half-gabled and raking dormers. Rear has
stable wing, plaster 1st floor, stone slate roof, 4 bays,
single-chamfered mullioned windows, gabled dormers, 2 with
loading doors.
