Terrace of 5 houses. 1893-4. By William Owen. Brick with
stone dressings, some timber-framing and tile-hanging, tile
half-hipped roof with gablets. One storey with attic, 5
bays, 2nd and 3rd bays have slightly jettied gabled 1st
floor under hipped roof. String course over ground floor;
pargetted frieze above has scroll work with human figures,
birds and beasts, and cartouches, one with date: 1893.
Windows have small-paned casements, ground floor has single-
chamfered-mullioned windows with decorative heads, most of 3
lights, the end one of 4 lights. 3-light windows to 1st
floor, those to 1st and 4th bays in gabled half dormers, end
bay has window in large tile-hung gabled half dormer.
Entrances have canopies, plank doors with 3 leaded lights
and bootscrapers. 4 cross-axial stacks. Rear has tile-hung
gabled bays and privies.
