Includes Nos. 6to 9 (consec) Knox Close. Terrace of 8
flats. 1899. By Grayson and Ould. Brick with slate roof and
tile ridge. 2 storeys, 6 bays, the central 2 bays project
under hipped roof; end bay has projecting lateral stack with
diagonal flues. Ground floor sill band and cornice, top
cornice. Windows have gauged-brick flat arches and leaded
casements, central bays have canted bay windows of 5 lights,
with transom and central round-headed feature to ground
floor, similar 1st bay window, those to 2nd and 5th bays
probably C20 replacements, of 3 lights. 1st floor 2-light
window to 1st bay, 3-light to 2nd and 5th bays. Entrances to
returns have 4-panel doors and overlights. Cross-axial stack
and one to rear. Returns have pediments with bulls eyes.
Rear has C20 ground floor and entrances to Knox Close.
