Terrace of 4 houses. 1925. By J. Lomax Simpson. Brick with
tile-hung 1st floor and hipped tile roof. 2 storeys, 6 bays,
end bays project under hipped gables; re-entrant porches
under cat-slide roofs. Central 4 bays have tile-hanging
swept out to form canopy over ground floor on corbelled
groin vault. Ground floor has segmental-headed 4-light
small-paned casements; end bays have 4-light canted bay
windows. 1st floor has 3-light small-paned casements; small
windows to re-entrant porches. Entrances have architraves
and half-glazed doors with small-paned lights; porches have
round-headed openings. 2 cross-axial stacks and return
lateral stacks abutting hipped dormers, windows with small
return lights to front.
