Pair of houses. 1902. By Grayson and Ould. Roughcast with
brick, tile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays; 1st 2 bays project
under paired asymmetrical gables, with small hipped re-
entrant block to right. Brick base and ground floor quoins.
Windows have small-paned casements. Ground floor has 4-light
canted bay windows with parapets to 1st 2 bays, 3-light
window to end bay. 1st floor has 3-light windows, that to
end bay in timbered gabled half-dormer. Entrances have flat
canopies and small-paned lights. Cross-axial stack and
projecting gable-end stack to right return. Decorative
rainwater head. Rear similar, dormers, privies. Flanking
brick screen walls of the 1920's have end buttresses and
central shell niches with raised coping over.
