Barn with cowhouses and stable. Probably C18. Stone with
stone slate roof. Barn has 3-bay cow house to left and one
bay cow house to right of entrance with barn doors. That to
left of 3 bays with stone piers to front, now with brick
infill and windows and entrance; 4 stalls; shallower pitched
roof. That to right has entrance on left return; 2 stalls.
Lower, recessed 2-storey 2-bay block to left has elliptical-
arched entrance to cart shed with stable (or cowhouse) door
and window to right. Windows to 1st floor have remains of
frames. Left return has external stone steps, with brick
cladding, to 1st floor entrance to ? granary. Rear facade
has blocked barn entrance with timber lintel and segmental
relieving arch, battered buttress and C20 open shed.
Interior:Barn of 4 bays with internal buttresses supporting
King post trusses with struts and through purlins. Right
hand bay has inserted floor.Stable has tie-beam truss and
through purlins.
