Foundry, now warehouse. Late C19. Common brick with red
and blue brick and stone dressings. Facade of 2 storeys and
32 bays. 1st floor sill band and top frieze and cornice has
gablets with finials. 1st 7 bays form symmetrical
composition: 3:1:3 bays with gablets to end 3 bays and panel
inscribed "HARLAND AND WOLFF LTD". End 12 bays similar:
2:3:2:3:2 with gablets over 3-bay parts and panel as above.
Central 13 bays with gables over 5 bays at each end.
Central decorative cornice with pediment over panel
inscribed "FOUNDRY". Windows are blind with segmental heads
and keystones, those to 5-bay gabled parts are stepped.
Central entrance, 2 segmental-headed cart entrances to right
and later entrances to end blocks. Right return has round-
headed recesses.
