Two houses. c.1880. By A.H. Mackmurdo. Roughcast and tile roof with half-hipped gables. Two storeys, three bays to each house. Garden front has timber verandah with undulating fascia boards and glazed ends; central partition. Windows have small-paned casements. Central French windows to each house, with canted oriels above. Three cross-axial stacks. Returns have upper weathered boarding over plaster band. C20 extension to west.

Rear has central two bay wing with half-hipped gable. Flanking bays are weather boarded, with recessed ground floor. End bays have tile hung first floor. Porches under lean-to roofs to returns of rear wing.

A rare example of a building by an important Arts and Crafts designer.
