House. Possibly C17 (incised date in interior:1690).
Cruck-framed; Roughcast with slate roof. One storey with
attic, 3 bays, with added C20 cross wing to west. Windows
mostly 2-light casements, with one horizontally sliding sash
to left of entrance; another entrance to right. Left return
has entrance with window above, projecting stack to left and
battered buttresses to right. One flat topped dormer and
stack behind ridge. Interior has 2 cruck trusses truncated,
with collars and short king posts. Chamfered beams to
ground floor and ingle nook and cambered opening to stair,
to central room.
