2/40 Old Parsonage
House. 1772, with later alterations. Brick with stone
dressings, slate roofs. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with one-storey,
one bay extension to left and 2-storey gabled cross-wing to
right. Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with
glazing bars, that to left extension is very large. Cross
wing has gauged brick flat arches to windows, and casements
with margin lights. Central entrance has paired glazed
doors and later lean-to open porch. End stacks and one
cross-axial stack. Left return has entrance with angle
pilasters and cornice; rear has round-headed stair window:
