House. Probably early to mid C18 with earlier rear wing.
Brick with some stone and slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays.
Bands between floors. Windows have gauged brick cambered
arches and brick sills; casements. 2nd floor has 2 windows.
Windows are not symmetrically placed. Porch with Dutch
gable and round-headed entrance. Stone plaque above has
rococo scroll work with mask at bottom, possibly had date
and Sefton arms. Rear wing is lower with stone base and
some horizontally sliding sashes. Interior not inspected
but said to have original doors and staircase with turned
balusters.
